Birds Eye in the United Kingdom has budgeted £10 million to promote two newly launched products in its premium range of Inspirations ready meals, Fish Chargrills and Chicken Inspirations, which are expected to respectively retail for £3.49 and £2.50. The multi-media campaign to support the rollout, part of the company’s “Food of Life” brand positioning, will include television commercials, outdoor advertising, PR, digital and product sampling.
Fish Chargrills positioned as “the ideal choice for those looking for a light and healthy dinner option.” Containing less than three per cent fat, the fish dish can be baked or barbequed in the tray it comes in. Three flavors are offered: Sun Blushed Tomato, Basil & Oregano; Juicy Lemon, Rosemary & Thyme; and Thai Coconut, Lemongrass & Chilli.
Chicken Inspirations features 100% breast meat and a crispy breadcrumb coating with generous sauce. It comes in four flavor combinations: Irresistible Garlic & Herb; Sizzling Peri Peri; Creamy Cheese & Ham; and Tangy Tomato & Basil.
