The Orlando, Florida-headquartered Red Lobster restaurant chain is launching its first ever range of frozen seafood products in supermarkets and other food retail channels in the United Sates. Inspired by popular offerings on the international operator’s menu, the new retail entrées include Cheddar Bay Biscuit Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp Bites, the latter of which is tossed in shredded coconut and paired with sweet chili sauce. Both make it easier for consumers to quickly prepare convenient seafood dinners at home, as well as indulge in party appetizers or late-night snacking.
Two additional items rolling out in retail stores are Cheddar Bay Biscuit Cod, featuring wild-caught cod breaded with Cheddar Bay Biscuit seasoning, and Parmesan Crusted Garlic & Herb Stuffed Shrimp.
The new frozen seafood offerings join a lineup of popular biscuit retail products already on the market, including Red Lobster’s award-winning frozen, ready-to-bake Cheddar Bay Biscuits, Gluten-free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix, Traditional Mix and Honey Butter Biscuit Mix.
