As pizza purveyors and consumers around the USA welcomed the “cheesiest holiday” of the year, 7-Eleven and its Speedway and Stripes franchises rolled out the dough to celebrate National Pizza Party Day on May 17.
Front and center is the convenience store chain’s new 7-Select Frozen Pizza baking at home whenever one likes. Made with the same recipe and ingredients as 7-Eleven’s in-store pizza, the frozen offering can be found in the freezer section at participating stores in two flavors: Cheese and Pepperoni.
Additionally, the chain’s reimagined 14-inch pizza, baked in-store and served hot, has 30% more of 7-Eleven’s signature sliced and diced pepperoni, topped with a mozzarella, parmesan and provolone cheese blend.
For folks who believe that no pizza party is complete without chicken wings, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty members can purchase eight boneless wings for just $3.99 and get eight more wings free of charge every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through June 25.
“From the mouthwatering taste of our new 7-Select Frozen Pizza and the revamped baked in-store Ultimate Pepperoni Pizza to wings deals, 7-Eleven is the go-to spot for all of your pizza party needs,” said Nikki Boyers, the company’s vice president of private and emerging brands. “With the rollout of our frozen pizza, we are delighted to offer customers the same exceptional quality they get in stores, directly from the comfort of their own home kitchens.”
Headquartered in Irving, Texas, 7-Eleven operates, franchises and/or licenses more than 13,000 stores in the United States and Canada.
