Jochen Hottinger, the managing director of Varel, Germany-based Heinen, speaks about how the company competes in a global market as a German manufacturer of industrial machines and equipment for for freezing, continuous pasteurizing, proofing and cooling of foodstuffs.
Heinen differs not only in high quality – made in Germany – equipment, but is a reliable partner and adheres to contract and compliance with agreements and terms at all times. The company’s own employees install its machines at the sites of customers. Helpers install only with Heinen supervisors present. The company’s division of maintenance continues to grow and currently consists of 25 out of Heinen’s 70 employees engaged in research and development, sales, manufacturing, installation and service, in addition to maintenance.
