ConAgra Foods, Inc. has announced the appointment of David Biegger as its executive vice president and chief supply chain officer, effective October 5.

Biegger will be in charge of end-to-end supply chain activities for the ConAgra Consumer Foods business, which includes Healthy Choice, Marie Callender’s, Banquet, P.F. Chang’s and other retail frozen food brands. Among his responsibilities will be overseeing the company’s manufacturing, procurement, environment, health and safety, plant quality, customer logistics and planning, and transportation and warehousing teams.
Before joining ConAgra Foods, Biegger was the senior vice president for global supply chain activities at Campbell Soup Company, where his responsibilities ranged from manufacturing and quality to safety, engineering, procurement, logistics, environmental sustainability and customer service. Prior to that he spent 24 years in various supply chain roles at Procter & Gamble Co.
