Who says you have to go to a steakhouse to enjoy a tasty serving of real ribeye beef? Certainly not folks at the Jack in the Box quick service restaurant chain in the United States, which has just rolled out what is being promoted as the fast food world’s “first 100 percent Ribeye Burger.”
“We have a proven track record for exceeding guest expectations,” said Iwona Alter, chief marketing officer of the San Diego, California-headquartered company. “Jack in the Box thrives on challenging convention. While many of our competitors are narrowing menus or following the movement toward craft, we’re focused on giving our customers what they want, when they want it.”
For a limited time, Jack’s menu will offer two distinct choices to order at more than 2,000 participating outlets in 21 states and on the West Pacific island of Guam, where America’s day begins.
The All American Ribeye option features a beef patty made from ribeye meat, plus red onion and tomato. It’s layered with Provolone cheese, mayonnaise and spring mix lettuce on top of an artisan potato bun.
The Havarti & Grilled Onion Ribeye serves up sliced tomato, grilled onions, mayonnaise, Havarti cheese and a red wine glaze sauce to complement flavors of the meat.
The Ribeye Burger joins Smoky Jack and Buttery Jack Burgers in the premium range menu. It also marks the beginning of a slate of new product items that customers can expect moving forward.
“This year, we will continue prioritizing flavor, unique ingredients and surprising new menu items that satisfy the cravings our consumers did not even know they had,” said Jennifer Kennedy, director of product marketing.
