Nomad Foods’ Birds Eye brand in the United Kingdom is introducing three new restaurant-quality burgers to its Inspirations range of frozen retail products. They are:
- 4 x Parmesan Cracked Black Pepper and Parsley Quarter Pounders
- 4 x Mozzarella, Sundried Tomato and Basil Quarter Pounders
- 2 x 5 oz. Steak Burgers
For folks looking to create bigger and meatier burgers at home, the new 5 oz. Steak Burgers are 25% bigger than traditional Quarter Pounder alternatives. They consist of five simple ingredients: steak, salt, pepper, rosemary and crumb.
“We worked hard to pack the burgers full of flavor, making them perfect for all occasions – whether a summer barbeque with family, or as a special midweek meal inspired by eating out,” said Sean Staunton, brand manager.
Priced at £2.50, Birds Eye Inspirations Steak Burgers are now available in Tesco supermarkets, and will be found in Sainsbury’s and Asda retail stores starting June 25. The two Quarter Pounders will also debut in Asda and Sainsbury’s on the 25th, at a higher price point of £3.25.
“The Inspirations range is created for consumers looking to treat themselves and indulge in incredible tasting restaurant-quality food, but without the restaurant price tag,” added Staunton.
