Lymington, England-based New Forest Ice Cream has rolled out refreshed Party Push Up, an ice cream for youngsters featuring colored chocolate spheres. The sweet treat boasts light vanilla ice cream interspersed with vibrant candy-covered chocolate chips.
In an increasingly competitive marketplace, it is vital for wrapped ice cream products to stand out, whether in a freezer or as part of a dedicated children’s menu. Considering this, the team at New Forest Ice Cream has given the packaging a complete redesign, taking the recognizable pastel shades the brand has become associated with and matching them with the splash of color from the clear candy filled handle.
Made using a nut free recipe which is free from artificial colorings and flavourings, the Party Push Up distributed in individually wrapped 80ml portions packed in cases containing 24 units that wholesale for £18.50. The suggested retail price for each piece is £1.50.
“Impulse ice cream sales have continued to perform strongly across both the retail and foodservice sectors, with operators and customers alike noting their ease of storage and suitability for on-the-go consumers,” said Christina Veal, director of New Forest Ice Cream. “Our improved recipe, featuring a creamy base with even more chocolate pieces is sure to be a big hit, while the vibrant new packaging design will help the Party Push Up stand out in a freezer or on a children’s menu.”
