Frozen Products in Running for Seafood Excellence Awards

190314 se graphic01With the March 17-19 Seafood Expo North America set to kick off in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, a high point on Day 1 of the annual extravaganza will be the Seafood Excellence Awards presentation. Twelve finalists have made the cut, and as always suppliers of frozen products are well represented in the competition.

Selected from 59 entries already judged positively for uniqueness and appropriateness to the market, taste profile, packaging, market potential, convenience, nutritional value and originality, are the following final contenders:

The products will be evaluated by a panel of judges from 11 AM to 1 PM on March 17 in the New Product Showcase area at the Expo. Thereafter, Best New Foodservice Product and Best New Retail Product winners will be saluted during the Seafood Excellence Awards ceremony scheduled for 3 PM in the Demonstration Theater of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. All show goers are invited to attend.
