With foot traffic in the streets and sidewalks of once bustling New York City reduced these days to a slow social distancing pace, and indoor dining in restaurants still banned by Covid-concerned health czars, Gotham’s foodservice sector has been stepping up delivery services to transport menu offerings near and far. And thanks to freezing and increasingly efficient logistics providers, fast tracking orders from midtown Manhattan to points across the USA and beyond is not a problem.

Angelina Bakery, which in March closed the café areas of its two locations in midtown Manhattan to comply with health department requirements, has entered the Goldbelly online marketplace to widen distribution of Italian classic pastries and savory dishes made with an with an Asian twist, representing proprietor Antonio Park’s Korean-Italian background.

Baker and proprietor Antonio Park hails from Palermo, Sicily.

Customers nationwide are now able to order Angelina’s sweet tooth Croissants (Novella, Pain Au Chocolate, Raspberry, Almond or Plain), as well a Novella, Custard Cream, Pistachio and Strawberry Bobolinks (Italian-style filled doughnuts).

For those preferring savory choices there are Croissant Sandwiches filled with Ham, Bacon Egg & Cheese, Turkey or Prosciutto, Margherita Focaccia Pizza or Angelina’s traditional Pizza topped with Spicy Salami, Egg & Spinach or Ham & Cheese.

Products ordered through Goldbelly will be in the hands of customers anywhere in the continental United States within 24 to 48 hours of the time shipping commences. It arrives frozen and pre-baked, allowing for easy final preparation. Order prices range from $40 to $145.

Angelina’s baked goods have been acclaimed by celebrity chefs including David Burke and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, as well as respected food critics in magazines and newspapers, including The New York Times.
