The Messe Düsseldorf organization announced on November 10 that it has reached agreement with partners from trade associations, industry and the trade fair advisory board on a path forward for staging Interpack, the International Trade Fair for Processing & Packaging, from February 25 to March 3, 2021, at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. The same applies for components the trade show, which will be held concurrently.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the expected lower number of visitors, all participating companies will receive discounts on exhibit space pricing. In addition, there is a temporary special termination option for exhibitors who cannot or do not want to participate in the event.
“We fully understand the reservations and concerns of our exhibitors given the current situation. On the other hand, we have also received feedback on how important personal exchange is for our customers and what significance Interpack has for the processing and packaging industry. In this respect, we believe that with our offer we can best protect the interests of all parties involved and would like to thank our partners for their constructive cooperation,” commented Interpack Project Director Thomas Dohse.
Interpack 2021 is scheduled to take place with an already tested hygiene and infection protection concept, which the organizer believes will allow exhibitors and trade visitors to meet safely in the exhibition halls. More information about the hygiene protocol is available at www.interpack.com.
