Also on the scene for the rollout were (pictured from left to right above) were Andy Kuntz, chief executive officer and owner of Andy’s Frozen Custard; Dana Kuntz, owner; and Carol Kuntz, founder.
In a multi-year partnership arrangement announced at the event, Andy’s will be serving custard to hundreds of thousands of motorsports fans as the “Official Frozen Treat” of Texas Motor Speedway beginning in May. Racing fans at the track will have easy access to the product at concession stands, suites and from the treat trucks. Texas is currently home to nearly 25 percent of all Andy’s locations, with 21 stores in operation and several more under development.
As part of the company’s expanded motorsports initiative, Andy’s will be sponsoring the No. 3 Chevrolet in this year’s NASCAR Cup Series, which will debut on June 13 NASCAR All-Star Race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Founded in 1986 in Osage Beach, Missouri, by Andy’s parents John and Carol Kuntz, Andy’s Frozen Custard is the USA’s largest business of its kind, with more than 2,000 employees and 97 company-owned and franchised stores across 14 states.
