Halo Top has made a change to its Dairy Light Ice Cream recipe, featuring ultrafiltered skim milk and other high-quality ingredients, to deliver an even creamier texture while maintaining a preferred taste profile. Offered at a suggested retail price of $4.99, each of the pints in the Dairy Ice Cream portfolio will continue to be lower in calories and sugar than regular ice cream and provide a good source of protein.
The LeMars, Iowa-headquartered company is debuting the new recipe with a new flavor: Chocolate Cake Batter. It boasts a chocolaty cake batter light ice cream with colored sprinkles. While Halo Top’s classic Birthday Cake has been a long-standing favorite for customers, Chocolate Cake Batter offers another flavor option in an even creamier 330 calorie pint.
“Throughout 2022, our fans can now enjoy their favorite Halo Top Dairy Light Ice Cream flavors with even creamier texture thanks to our latest reformulation,” said Pete Gargula, brand manager.
Founded in 2011, Halo Top brand was acquired by Wells Enterprises in 2019. The product line is available in frozen food aisles of supermarkets and grocery stores throughout North America.
