The British Frozen Food Federation has announced that World Rugby Hall of Fame member Maggie Alphonsi will be the keynote speaker at the BFFF Business Conference set for September 20 at the Stratford Manor Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
The star athlete excelled a key player on the English team that won the 2014 Rugby World Cup and was named the Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year. Since retiring from the pitch, in addition to motivational speaking and providing sports commentary in the media, she is active as a brand ambassador for SportsAid and represents charities including Sporting Equals and SKRUM.
The BFFF’s robust roster of business speakers will cover a wide field ranging from retail and foodservice sales fronts to consumer behavior, sustainability and cold chain logistics trends. Among those slated to make presentations are:
