Riyadh-based Siwar Foods, a purveyor of frozen meals, desserts and other ready-to-eat products, has signed a formal agreement with Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC) that will see the two companies work together on food solutions for different business segments.
The market for time saving convenience foods continues to grow in Saudi Arabia, with research conducted by Siwar confirming that consumers in the Kingdom are open to purchasing a variety of frozen ready made meals as long as they are tasty, of high quality and affordably priced.
Additionally, the foodservice market within the corporate sector is growing, as employers look to balance choice and quality with affordable and flexible menu options for their work force.
Commenting on the agreement, Loaye Al-Nahedh, Siwar chief executive officer and founder (pictured above signing the agreement with Wajdy Al-Ghabban, chief executive officer of SACC) said:

Siwar’s expanding frozen product line is available at for purchase at retail stores across the Kingdom, as at Chef in a Box vending machines and online. Its wide assortment of products ranges from Lamb Biryani and Tikka Masala to cheesecake and tiramisu.
