Enlightened Ice Cream has launched Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars. The new product line features in Caramel Brownie and Mint & Cookies flavors, both sweetened with monk fruit, distributed in four-packs priced at $6.99. They are now available at Sprouts Farmers Market, Harris-Teeter, ShopRite, Ingles, Smart & Final and other supermarkets and grocery stores in the USA.
The bars are made with premium Greek yogurt to provide a “perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, while offering all the nutritional benefits of Greek yogurt,” according to a press release issued by Beyond Better Foods, the brand’s New York City-based company founded Michael Shoretz in 2012.
On top of prebiotic and probiotic benefits, the new offerings are presented as the lowest sugar Greek yogurt bars on the market, with only 80 calories, 3 grams of added sugar and 5 grams of protein per serving.
“Our customers have been asking us for years to deliver a Greek yogurt version of our ice cream bars,” said CEO Shoretz. “We worked hard to create a product that not only tastes great, but also offers a healthier alternative to traditional ice cream bars.”
The Enlightened brand is known for lower-sugar treats, including ice cream pints, bars and desserts. Each product is crafted with quality ingredients and formulated to meet the needs of health conscious consumers who don’t want to sacrifice flavor for nutrition.
