Lutosa SA, the Leuze-en-Hainaut, Belgium-headquartered value-added potato products specialist, has been busy on the trade fair circuit. After appearing at the Casual Dining restaurant, pub and bar event in London late last month and showing its product line at Conxemar in Vigo, Spain in early October, the next stop was Cologne, Germany for the October 7-11 Anuga exhibition.
Lutosa Smoky Barbecue Fries (pictured above) and Spicy Fries were among new spud specialties that showgoers saw and sampled. In the non-potato finger food portfolio, newly launched Lutosa Mozzarella Sticks were available to taste.
Lutosa’s Smoky Barbecue Fries feature a carefully balanced blend of barbecue spices, wood smoke and a touch of salt, while the Spicy Fries are coated with a mild Tex-Mex seasoning that provides a gentle touch of spice and crispness.
Also in prominent profile are Lutosa Salted Coated Rustic Fries. The chunky, skin-on product is coated and salted both inside and out, resulting in a guaranteed crispy bite.
Weighing in at plus or minus 30 grams each, Lutosa’s lightly seasoned Mozzarella Sticks (pictured below) are presented as “an indispensable addition to tapas plates” as well as “an appetizer to share with friends or as a gourmet starter.”
