The 24th Conxemar International Frozen Seafood Products Exhibition closed last Thursday with record numbers to report. The three-day event in Vigo attracted 26,736 visitors, which was 3% more than last year, hailing from 110 countries. In addition to Spain, the most represented nations were Portugal, Italy, France, Argentina and Morocco.
The 2023 edition had participation from 767 exhibitors. That was up by 13.1% thanks to the optimization of space, which resulted in 1,300 square meters more than the previous year. In total companies, institutions and suppliers from 45 countries promoted a wide variety of products and services, with exhibitors from Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates welcomed as new comers. Mauritania, Turkey, Greece and the Netherlands attended for the first time in country pavilions.
