The Arlington, Virginia, USA-headquartered Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) recently announced its new board of directors roster for the warehouse division. Board members are responsible for governing, developing policy and setting a course for the future. They focus is on advancing the mission, vision and strategic goals of the organization.
Jason Dreisbach, president and owner of Dreisbach Enterprises (pictured above) was elected to serve as chairman of the board for 2024.Tim Ludwig of Bradner Cold Storage was named vice chairman, and Francisco Moura of IceStar is the new treasurer. Michael J. McClendon of Lineage Logistics will serve as immediate past chairman.
Tapped to serve as GCCA Warehouse directors-at-large positions for three-year terms are: Scott Albers, Nor-Am Cold Storage; Rich Burke, Konoike-Pacific (KPAC); Paul Gibbons, Commercial Cold Holdings; West Hutchison, Vertical Cold Storage; Andrew Lawrence, Magnavale Ltd; Nicholas Pedneault, Congebec Logistics; Karen Reece, Eskimo Cold Storage.
“I am honored to be chairman this year, and look forward to working with my fellow directors to continue to advance the value GCCA offers to its members and the entire cold chain community,” said Dreisbach.
GCCF Names Mickey Hoffmann Chairman
Meanwhile, the Global Cold Chain Foundation (GCCF), an international development partner of the GCCA, has announced that Mickey Hoffmann, senior vice president of corporate development at United States Cold Storage, is its chairman for 2024. Ken Whah of CORE X has been named vice chairman, and Adam Forste of Lineage Logistics is treasurer. Greg Laurin of Conestoga Cold Storage is now serving as immediate past chairman.
Named to serve three-year terms as governors-at-large are: Owusu Akoto, Freezelink; Justin Brandr, Nor-Am Cold Storage: Niels Lundgaard-Svenstrup, Lineage Logistics; Mathew Moore, Americold; Tom Poe, Crystal Distribution; Marty Steinmetz, United States Cold Storage; David Stuver of Capital Ventures LLC.
