Anna Jęczmyk, who was previously in charge of the Greenyard Frozen Poland business, has been promoted to the position of managing director of Greenyard’s Frozen Division. Headquartered in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Belgium, the company is a major producer and global supplier of vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants.
Jęczmyk succeeds Francis Kint, who on January 1 assumed the helm at Greenyard as its chief executive officer after serving as managing director of the Frozen Division. In Jęczmyk’s new function, she will also join the company’s group leadership team.
Wojciech Kapka, operations director at Greenyard Frozen Poland since 2014, has been named general manager for Greenyard’s Frozen Poland business.
Jęczmyk, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, has been with Greenyard for over a decade. With this appointment, the company has acted to ensure overall continuity for its business and operations, thus securing progress the Frozen Division made under the leadership of Kint.
“I am thrilled to be appointed as managing director for the Frozen Division, grateful for the trust and confidence received from Greenyard’s executive management, and eager to directly contribute to our purpose.” said Jęczmyk.
CEO Kint commented: “Retaining talented leaders is paramount to our success. It is great to see our in-house talents evolve within the company, and grow into senior leadership positions. Anna knows the Greenyard Frozen business like the back of her hand, and she will be able to hit the ground running. With Anna now leading the entire Greenyard Frozen Division, and Wojciech leading the Greenyard Frozen Poland business, we can continue to fully leverage our current strengths while fostering continued growth, all in pursuit of our ambition to unleash the pure power of plants in all its forms.”
