The Sonic Drive-In fast food chain in the United States is firing up its barbecue menu with Pulled Pork BBQ Cheeseburger, Pulled Pork BBQ Totchos and Pulled Pork Sandwich debuts. Each will be available from February 5 through March 31.
The Pulled Pork BBQ Cheeseburger, priced at $5.29, features a 100% pure beef patty topped with smoked pulled pork, signature cherrywood smoke sauce, crinkle-cut pickles and melted American cheese nestled within a toasted brioche bun.
Customers looking to satisfy their “BBQuriousity” can savor Sonic’s new take on totchos (also known as tot nachos) with Pulled Pork BBQ Totchos – crispy tots transformed into a BBQ menu pleaser topped with tender pulled pork and cherrywood smoke sauce. A craveable twist on the quick service restaurant operator’s popular tots, they are promoted as “perfect for a hearty afternoon snack or alongside the Pulled Pork BBQ Cheeseburger.”
Guests can also “meat” up with friends at the drive-in for a Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich – a large portion of smoked pulled pork smothered in cherrywood smoke sauce topped with crinkle cut pickles between a brioche bun.
“The passion for barbeque among our guests fueled the drive to put our own spin on these craveable favorites,” said Mackenzie Gibson, vice president of culinary and menu innovation at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-headquartered Sonic. “We’re always pushing the boundaries and finding new ways to take fan-favorite items, like our cheeseburgers and tots, to the next level.”
