Ted’s Bowl, the United Kingdom’s first line of frozen ready meals for pets, has been listed by Ocado Retail, the online supermarket platform joint venture between Marks & Spencer and Ocado. The offerings comprise nutritionally formulated food for adult dogs, senior dogs, puppies, adult cats and kittens.
The range is promoted as “taking dog and cat mealtimes to the next level, delivering fresh-frozen goodness that can be briefly cooked in the microwave straight from the freezer.”
Made from high quality ingredients, the recipes feature prime cuts of meat, fish and poultry (minimum 70% for dogs and 98% for cats), mixed with seasonal vegetables grown in Britain and augmented with additional vitamins and minerals.
For dogs, there’s Lamb with Garden Mint, Chicken with Carrots, Beef with Sweet Potato, and Venison with Blackberries. And for cats, there’s Just Beef, Just Salmon, and Salmon with Chicken. Each SKU weighs in at 300 grams and sells for £4.49.
Devoid of bone, grains, fillers and preservatives, the recipes boast only premium ingredients that are optimum for promoting health and well being of canines and felines alike. Distribution is in fully recyclable microwavable containers with resealable lids.
