Ahead of the April 25-27, 2024 National Football League Draft Snickers Ice Cream, a popular Mars brand in the United States, has enlisted top NFL wide receiver pick Rome Odunze to help fans hold onto their frozen sweet treats all season long with the Snickers Ice Cream Chiller. The first-of-its-kind ice cream holder is designed after Odunze’s skillful hands and keeps Snickers Ice Cream bars nice and cold.
“It’s an honor to have the chiller modeled after me,” said Odunze. “I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the 2024 NFL Draft alongside Snickers, and I can’t wait to see fans all over the country ‘chilling out’ with the ice cream chillers on game days.”
Odunze set a University of Washington yardage record at 1,640, and is only the second player in Huskies history to rack up multiple 1,000-yard receiving seasons after following up an impressive 2022 season with an even more impressive performance in 2023, grabbing 92 passes, including 13 touchdown runs during Washington’s 14-1 season.
“Snickers Ice Cream is excited to return to the NFL Draft for the second year in a row, and there is no one we’d rather partner with to help fans chill out all season long than one of the nation’s best receivers, who is known for making dynamic catches,” said Jayesh Shah, marketing director at Mars Ice Cream. “As fans prepare for an exciting Draft Day and the NFL season ahead, one thing they won’t have to worry about is dropping their satisfyingly delicious Snickers Ice Cream Bars.”
