The Global Cold Chain Alliance has named Sara Goodman-Stickler as its new president and chief executive officer. She will lead the Arlington, Virginia, USA-headquartered trade association’s mission of promoting and growing the international cold chain.
Greg Laurin, chairman of the search committee and immediate past chairman of the Global Cold Chain Foundation, stated: “We are very impressed with Sara and confident that under her strong leadership we will continue to address the strategic priorities of our global and growing membership as well as meet the evolving needs of the cold chain industry.”
Goodman-Stickler comes to GCCA from WTS International, a Washington, DC-headquartered organization dedicated to shaping the future of the transportation industry through the global advancement of women. Serving as its president and chief executive officer since 2018, she worked to set and execute WTS International’s organizational strategic priorities, covering 71 chapters across North America, while also working closely with the WTS International Board of Directors to continuously assess and develop the brand and the association’s programs.
“GCCA is at the forefront of one of the world’s most critical industries – the perishable food supply chain,” said Goodman-Stickler. “I am excited to join such an important organization providing valuable resources, training, education and research to ensure the safe and efficient movement of products globally. I look forward to working with the boards, members, and staff to lead the GCCA into the future, and I thank Greg and the search committee for their trust and support.”
