McCain Foods has rolled out Regen Fries, which are made exclusively with potatoes grown on farms that employ regenerative agricultural practices. Offered in Extra Crispy Crinkle and Straight-Cut varieties distributed in 26 oz (737g) bags, the fries are currently available in the freezer aisles of ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Hannaford, Giant Eagle, Key Food, DeMoulas stores in the USA.

The launch comes as McCain unveils a global campaign, “Taste Good, Feel Good,” following the brand’s strides towards further commitment of working with farmers to implement regenerative practices across 100% of its potato acreage globally by 2030.

To help consumers understand why regenerative farming matters, McCain has teamed up with actress Rachel Brosnahan to encourage consumers to learn more about its regenerative farming journey and Regen Fries.

“McCain is not just changing the way potatoes are farmed; they’re also changing the way people think about farming,” said Brosnahan. “I’m excited to be partnering with them to help raise awareness about regenerative agriculture in an immersive and accessible way.”

The company has also collaborated on influencer activity across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, working with “Potato Queen” Poppy O’Toole and Chef Kolby Kash, who both appeared in the new Regen Fries brand film.

McCain has also engaged Currie Goat, Brothers Make and Kelly Ann to design unique items that celebrate the regenerative progress, bridging sustainability and cultural relevance.

“Farming is at the heart of all we do. That is why we’re committed to advancing regenerative agriculture – to secure the future of fries and ensure they Taste Good and Feel Good,” said Christine Kalvenes, McCain Foods chief innovation and marketing officer. “But real change happens when we all come together. Through everyday choices and the many ways we have made it easy to dig in on regenerative agriculture –whether learning, engaging, or enjoying our delicious Regen Fries –consumers can help make a difference for the future of farming.”
