AngelBowls are now sprouting up in the freezer aisles of Sprouts Farmers Markets outlets in the United States. By combining high quality vegetables with made-from-scratch sauces, Dominex Natural Foods’ new frozen entrees serve up lots of flavor to savor along with plenty of culinary convenience.
The first five 9-ounce (255 grams) AngelBowls (each priced at $4.49), made entirely with non-GMO ingredients, are Mediterranean Eggplant Parmesan, Roasted Vegetable & Goat Cheese Gratin, Vegetable Bruschetta & Mozzarella, Penne Pasta in Parma Rosa Sauce, and Corkscrew Pasta & Creamy Tomato Vodka Sauce. They may be consumed as side dishes or incorporated into a main meal.
Distributed in eco-friendly containers packaged in recyclable outer cartons, AngelBowls feature diced vegetables that are low in sodium and calories. The range is a strategic line expansion by Saint Augustine, Florida, USA-based Dominex, which for over 25 years has specialized in supplying frozen eggplant products to retail and foodservice markets as well as industrial further processors. Earlier this year Omaha, Nebraska-based Westin Foods acquired a major interest in the company.
