AFFI President & CEO Kraig R. Naasz Reappointed to US Chamber of Commerce Key Leadership Group

Kraig R. Naasz , president and chief executive officer of the McLean, Virginia-based, American Frozen Food Institute (AFF),has again been appointed to serve on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Association Committee of 100 (C-100).

“The American Frozen Food Institute values its working relationship with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and we’re proud of Kraig’s continued service on the C-100,” said AFFI Chairman Jeff Varcoe of The Schwan Food Company.

Founded in 1958, the C-100 is comprised of the nation’s leading association chief executives and serves as the primary policy-originating body for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  The committee also enhances the Chamber’s issue advocacy and coalition efforts, and works to expand the organization’s outreach to the business and trade association communities.

Naasz was first invited to join the C-100 in 2006.  The most recent invitation to extend his service on the C-100 was extended by U.S. Chamber of Commerce Chairman Steve Van Andel of Amway.

The C-100 meets twice a year, typically in June and December, and is currently chaired by American Beverage Association President and CEO Susan Neely.

The American Frozen Food Institute is the national trade association promoting and representing the interests of all segments of the frozen food industry.  AFFI works to foster industry development and growth, and advocates before legislative and regulatory entities on the industry’s behalf.  More information can be found at www.affi.org.
