The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) has organized the Supply Chain Solutions Summit, a virtual event set for September 23 from 12:15to 5 PM. The program is designed to connect customers, suppliers and colleagues across the frozen food supply chain. It is open to AFFI members free of charge and to non-members for a $49 fee.
“We’re all connecting today in new ways,” said AFFI President and CEO Alison Bodor. “The Summit is an innovative solution to help our industry do business by providing them with a platform to connect, collaborate and learn from experts and each other.”
The virtual gathering will feature keynote speaker Scott Likens of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and offer education sessions focused on changes that have been observed in the supply chain as a result of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic, and networking opportunities. One of the sessions will focus on the Covid-19 and cold storage construction.
“The ability for suppliers from a range of business verticals, printing to packaging to equipment manufacturing and cold storage, to connect virtually with their customers is a prime opportunity as our industry prepares for the increased demand for frozen due to Covid-19 and beyond,” said Bodor.
More information on the Summit is available here. AFFI’s Supply Chain Solutions Summit complements AFFI’s education and event offerings, including the upcoming AFFI Leadership Conference and AFFI-CON 2021.
