Dietmar Eiden, vice president of trade fair management at Koelnmesse, discusses the Anuga FoodTec’s evolution in becoming the world’s foremost exhibition dedicated to food and beverage processing equipment, packaging lines, industrial freezing systems and related technologies. Held every three years during the month of March in Cologne, Germany, the show’s 2015 edition attracted approximately 45,000 visitors to the stands of 1,501 companies displaying their wares in 121,000 square meters of space. The four-day event has grown from strength to strength among international suppliers and buyers since its launch in 1996.
