A trio of value-added frozen spinach innovations was among a number of new products showcased by the Ardo Group during the SIAL trade fair in Paris, France, October 19-23, where its international team welcomed visitors to Stand P180 in Hall 5A.
On the menu is Spinach Mediterranea, a seasoned vegetable mix featuring spinach, cherry tomatoes, grilled red and yellow peppers, grilled onions and herbs. The combination is ideal for preparing pasta, risotto and oven dishes, or as a side dish for a tasty side with fish or meat. Distribution is in 1.0kg polybags.
Also in the spotlight will be Spinach “Foglia.” Ardo stacks young spinach leaves on top of each other to better retain the texture and taste of this offering. Easy to portion (50g portions), the high-quality product comes in 2.5kg polybags.
Creamy Spinach is presented as classic creamed spinach prepared in a more sustainable way with a flavorsome vegan cream sauce. Completely plant-based, the versatile product is ideal for all kinds of recipes including stuffed portobello and vegan lasagna, or served as a tasty meal component. It’s suitable for vegans and flexitarians, as well as consumers with lactose intolerance or gluten allergies. Easy to portion, the high-quality product comes in 1.0kg polybags.
