Ben & Jerry’s New Cherry Crumble Positions Fruit Flavor Front & Center

There’s no denying the appeal of sweet Bing cherries and dark fudge flakes. Cherry Garcia held the #1 spot on the list of Ben & Jerry’s Fan Favorites for 25 years and remains one of the Burlington, Vermont, USA-headquartered company’s most popular flavors of all time.

But that reign may be in jeopardy now, as Ben & Jerry’s is “dishing out” it newest limited batch flavor: Cherry Crumble. The concoction, featuring buttery ice cream with cherries and swirls of oat crumble, is offered at a suggested retail price of $5.49.

“We were inspired by spring, fresh fruit and the memory of taking a fresh cherry crumble out of the oven,” said Colleen Rossell, Cherry Crumble’s creator. “With so many caramels, chocolates, and peanut butter flavors available – this is a refreshing choice with the right amount of sweetness, fruit, and rich indulgence. It’s the perfect balance!”

Ben & Jerry’s, a wholly-owned autonomous subsidiary of Unilever, is active in over 35 countries where its ice cream range is distributed to supermarkets, grocery stores, convenience stores, and franchised Scoop Shops. Products are also available via on-demand delivery services.
