The Iceland supermarket chain in the United Kingdom and confectionery specialist Cadbury have partnered to launch an exclusive range of frozen chocolate brownie desserts in stores and online beginning July 7. The sweet treats feature classic Cadbury flavors in brownie form, including a Cadbury Dairy Milk Brownie and Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Brownie, each weighing in at 400 grams and selling for £3.
“We’re so excited to have worked with Iceland, the experts in frozen, to recreate our world-famous Dairy Milk and Dairy Milk Caramel flavors in brownie form,” said Alastair Crimp, sales director at Leicester-based Vittles Foods, which makes the product. “It was important to us that we ensured we delivered the same, classic flavors that our customers know and love, and we’re confident that we’ve managed to do so with these products.”
Iceland’s exclusive double act of Cadbury brownie desserts are frozen, so shoppers can simply defrost the products to eat cold or microwave them for two minutes to get an indulgently gooey brownie dessert.
Sally Bentley, Iceland’s senior desserts buyer, commented: “We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to partner with such an iconic household confectioner like Cadbury to develop a twist on their classic Dairy Milk flavors with these products. As they’re exclusive to Iceland, there’s nowhere else that shoppers can get their fix of classic Cadbury Dairy Milk flavors in this new format.”
