Veggies Made Great is on target to roll out Chocolate Chip Blondie Bites at Target stores in the USA this autumn. Featuring zucchini, butternut squash and chickpea ingredients, the microwaveable snack is distributed in 283-gram packs containing 10 individually wrapped treats.
“Our new Chocolate Chip Blondie Bites take our portfolio of sweet offerings beyond breakfast,” said Elliot Huss, chief executive officer of the Brooklyn, New York-based company. “As with all of our products, vegetables are the first ingredient and they are also under 100 calories and low in sugar, making them a perfect afternoon snack or dessert option that you can feel good about.”
Produced at a Garden Lites plant in Rahway, New Jersey, the gluten-free product joins a wide range of “better-for-you” offerings that includes muffins, veggie cakes, frittatas and stuffed cauliflower bites that are sold in the frozen food aisles of retail grocery stores and wholesale outlets across the United States.
