Reese’s Ice Cream Cake is now available in select grocery stores across the USA. Featuring chocolate ice cream, chunks of real Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, a layer of Reese’s peanut butter and whipped icing with a Hershey’s chocolate drizzle on top, the product has been launched just ahead of “I Love Reese’s Day” on May 18.
Produced by Buffalo, New York-headquartered Rich Products, the nation’s leading maker of ice cream cakes sold in grocery stores, the sweet treat gives Reese’s devotees another way to enjoy their favorite candy. Priced at $15.99, each cake serves about nine people. It can be found in the bakery or freezer sections at stores including Publix, ShopRite, Giant Martin’s, Giant Landover, Food Lion and other outlets.
Residents of and visitors to the Keystone State might want to mark their calendars. This summer, for National Ice Cream Day on July 21, Reese’s fans and Hershey Park’s Chocolate World guests can taste the new cake in the place where Reese’s got its start: Hershey, Pennsylvania. The cake will be sampled all day long by folks at the popular amusement park.
