Les Cerqueux, France-headquartered pâtisserie specialist Brioche Pasquier is bringing fruit to the table in a zingy new range of macarons that showcase both the exotic and the familiar in a selection of contemporary flavors.

The crunch of green apple and the sharpness of blackcurrant are complimented with a more traditional strawberry macaron that is given a contemporary twist with the addition of poppy seeds.

“Macarons are increasingly popular and we find that there is demand for a wide variety of flavors,” said Jon Turonnet, the company’s foodservice sales manager in the United Kingdom. “They are small, delicious bites and consumers are prepared to experiment. People are looking for intensely delicious hits of flavor, together with the perfect macaron texture, a combination of crisp and soft with a creamy center.

He continued: “Our expert pâtissiers bake to traditional recipes with high quality fresh ingredients. Brioche Pasquier has a long history of creating the finest French pâtisserie, and we bake with skill and precision to ensure that our products arrive with chefs in perfect condition and can be served with pride.”

Packed in 36-count boxes, Macarons “Notes Fruitées” are free from artificial colors, fake flavors, preservatives and palm oil. They need only defrosting to serve, and if required a simple garnish. The product is ideal as an afternoon tea accompaniment, can be served in threes as a dessert or a mid-morning snack, added as a complement to after dinner coffee, or as a sweet canapé hors d’œuvre.
