The Cracker Barrel Old Country Store chain of restaurants and gift shops in the United States has added a number of new items to its winter menu – including Crispy Tender Dippers with an original take on bold Nashville Hot sauce, a Signature Saucy Chicken Sandwich, and Chicken n’ Dumplin Soup.
The Dippers option, pictured above, features six breaded fried chicken tenders with choice of three sauces for dipping and side dishes.
“After the holiday hustle, there is nothing better than kicking back with some real, crave-worthy comfort food,” said Sarah Moore, chief marketing officer of the company. “Our Crispy Tender Dippers are the perfect way to enjoy fan-favorite fried chicken tenders in a whole new way. And with our bold, new Nashville Hot sauce – our spicy twist on a Tennessee classic, inspired by 55 years of tradition – diners can turn up the heat and bring some country-style warmth to those chilly winter days.”
The new Signature Saucy Chicken Sandwich features a breaded chicken breast served on a toasted buttermilk bun with pickles, mayonnaise and a drizzle of one of Cracker Barrel’s signature sauces – including Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, BBQ, Maple Chipotle, Carolina Gold BBQ and Nashville Hot sauce.
Chicken n’ Dumplin Soup, served in a cup or bowl, is made with homestyle dumplings, shredded chicken, celery, carrots and onions in a savory broth.
