Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream Sundaes will debut at Kroger in the United States during January, marking the brand’s first entry into the grocery freezer space. The three-tiered sundae comes in two flavors: Cookies ‘n Cream and Cotton Candy.
Distribution is in boxes containing four 4-ounce sundae cups offered at $6.99, and there are plans to expand listings at additional retailers throughout 2025. Each cup is packed with dots, cookie pieces and ice cream topped with sauce.
“This launch marks an exciting new chapter for Dippin’ Dots, and we’re thrilled to bring this product into homes across the country,” said Dan Fachner, president and chief executive officer of J&J Snack Foods, the brand’s Mount Laurel, New Jersey-headquartered parent company.
“Our customers told us that they are craving innovation that allows them to enjoy the Dippin’ Dots brand in their own home,” added Lynwood Mallard, chief marketing officer. “We listened and are delighted to introduce the new Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream Sundaes.”
In business since 1988, Dippin’ Dots offers a wide range of flash-frozen beads of ice cream, yogurt and flavored ice produced at the company’s factory in Paducah, Kentucky. The novelty products, popular among consumers in sports stadiums, amusement parks and other entertainment venues, are sold throughout the USA and seven other countries through franchised and direct distribution networks.
The new Dippin’ Dots format in individually portioned cups is being promoted as “perfect for everything from family movie nights and birthday bashes, to those simple after-work or after-school ‘treat yourself, moments.”
