Frioneri Goes to Extême with Cookie Cone Ice Cream Products

The latest addition to Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire, England-headquartered Froneri’s Extrême portfolio is an ice cream with a cone made from a cookie.

Launching in January, the Extrême Cookie Cone innovation is being promoted as the first of its kind in the hand-held ice cream category, serving up smooth vanilla, caramel and hazelnut flavors with oven baked cookies that are formed together.

The product is set to strengthen Froneri’s line of premium cones, which already offer a combination of flavors including salted caramel & white chocolate, exotic mango, raspberry sorbet & cream and more.

“In a world where there is so much choice and new flavors always on the horizon, the Extrême Cookie Cone is a product like no other, cleverly bringing two loved sweet treats that are enjoyed separately, together,” said Lauren Charnock, brand manager.

She added: “We’ve been working on this for a long time. Our research into the innovation of the product has shown that there is 91% purchase intent, so we know it’s something our customers will enjoy. The launch will be supported with a comprehensive media campaign, running across the summer, including TV, sampling, in store and experiential activity.”
