Food industry veteran Bas Alblas, who retired as chief executive officer of Lamb Weston/Meijer (LW/M) earlier this year, has joined the Reitberg, Germany-headquartered Frostkrone Food Group’s advisory board. He brings more than three and a half decades of executive expertise to the Reitberg, Germany-headquartered company, including 12 years at the LW/M helm as well as experience at Mars, Unilever and Leerdammer Company/Bel.
“I’ve known Bas for many years and value him as a person and as an expert in his field. The Dutchman knows what makes the food industry tick and which trends are significant. He has been closely connected with the Frostkrone Food Group for years and is very well acquainted with the finger food and snack professional. Not only does he have extensive knowhow, but he also understands how to create new inspiration and momentum to drive new developments,” said Frostkrone CEO Frédéric Dervieux.
