A new street food range of bite-size frozen burger balls has been launched by the Rietberg, Germany-headquartered Frostkrone Food Group. The following varieties are now available at supermarkets and grocery outlets in Europe:
Cheese Burger Balls, featuring beef, cheddar cheese and tomatoes; Bacon Burger Balls, boasting beef and bacon smoked over beech wood, cheddar cheese and tomatoes enhanced with spice flavors and enveloped in a crispy coating; BBQ Burger Balls, featuring beef, creamy cheddar cheese and tangy BBQ sauce; Fish Burger Balls, pairing fish with a blend of spices; Chicken Burger Balls, featuring tender chicken, nutty Gouda cheese, sour gherkins and onions.
Preparation is quick and easy, requiring just 12 minutes of oven heating at 180°C, or in nine minutes at 180°C in an air fryer, 9 minutes.
“Burgers occupy the number one slot in the popularity stakes with so many consumers. And our burger balls deliver the full flavor of the original dish but in the new, tasty, finger food variation that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. This makes them suitable for virtually every occasion,” said Emiel Lommen, global commercial director of the Frostkrone Food Group.
