Austin, Texas, USA-based Beetnik Foods has entered into an agreement with New Holland, Pennsylvania-headquartered Garden Spot Distributors to supply its line of gluten-free and paleo-friendly (high protein, low carbohydrate count and high fiber content) frozen entrees, which are made from recipes featuring grass-fed and pasture-raised organic chicken, turkey and beef.
“Consumers of our products care a great deal about the taste, quality, source and composition of the ingredients in their food. Garden Spot Distributors supplies hundreds of natural and organic food stores in 12 states from New Hampshire to Virginia, allowing us to significantly expand our reach to mindful consumers,” said Beetnik CEO David Perkins.
Beetnik, which sells its line of frozen entrees at specialty grocers and though an online shopping service, offers a wide assortment of prepared meals ranging from Peruvian Stew with Organic Chicken to Beef Chili and Turkey with Spinach, Sweet Potato and Ancho Apple Sauce.
The company also supplies Brazilian-style seafood dishes made with sustainable fishery products, as well as gluten-free key lime pie, cheese and kale quiche, and other products.
All meals are prepared in Beetnik’s USDA-certified kitchen, with ingredients selected at the height of freshness, and immediately frozen after preparation to lock in natural flavors of whole food. Beetnik meals contain no artificial flavors, colorings, MSG, antibiotics, hormones, high fructose corn syrup, processed sugars, shelf stabilizers or any artificial preservatives.
