Corrin Hill, transport manager at Lineage Logistics in the United Kingdom, was presented the 2022 European Future Leader Award during the Global Cold Chain Alliance’s 25th European Conference. The gathering, which was attended by nearly 200 delegates from Europe, Britain, Australia and the USA, took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands from March 23-25.
“I am proud to be the recipient of the award and thankful to have been given the opportunity to exhibit my ability to be a leader in this essential industry,” said Hill (pictured above). “It was an honor to take part in this competition with other gifted young professionals.”
The Future Leader Award recognizes talented up and coming professionals who have the potential to become cold chain leaders and make a positive contribution to the development of the global temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics sector.
“It is encouraging to see young, promising talent rise to the challenge of bettering the industry and exploring opportunities to leave a meaningful, long-term impact on the development of the global cold chain,” said GCCA Europe Director Julie Hanson.
Finalists were judged and evaluated on their knowledge level of the industry, track record, communication abilities and leadership skills. In addition, each candidate delivered a short presentation during the conference. Hill will represent Europe in competition with young leaders from different regions of the world rivaling for the CGGA Global NextGen Award later this year.
