The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) has expanded its staff with the addition of Jason Troendle as director of market intelligence and research. Holding a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University, he comes to the Arlington, Virginia, USA-headquartered trade association after serving nearly two years as a senior business analyst at the Context Network.

“The Global Cold Chain Alliance is dedicated to solving its members’ business challenges,” said GCCA President and CEO Corey Rosenbusch. “Increasing our market intelligence function underscores and augments our commitment to members and the cold chain.”

Pleased to join the team, Troendle remarked: “The cold chain industry is increasingly dynamic, and I look forward to uncovering information that can directly help GCCA members grow their businesses and improve profitability.”

GCCA will continue to generate content that members of the public refrigerated warehousing sector and industry professionals rely on, such as the IARW Productivity and Benchmarking Report, Global Cold Storage Capacity Report and more. Now, with Troendle on board, the organization will also endeavor to develop additional useful resources aimed at advancing the industry.
