Malvin Fabal, logistics and frozen warehouse supervisor at Rannik in the Dominican Republic, is the winner of the Global Cold Chain Alliance’s (GCCA) 2022 Latin America Future Leader Award. The prize was presented by Manuel Cabrera, chairman of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW), during the GCCA Latin American Cold Chain Congress held last week in Bogotá, Colombia.
Organized by the GCCA and its IARW lead partner, the awards competition recognizes outstanding young professionals in the Latin American cold storage industry.
“When you receive recognition for the work done, that’s when you appreciate the time spent to reach the goal. This indicates that it was not in vain and was worth those days of pressure to reach the desired results. Thank God for the opportunity given to me by the GCCA and Luis Jorge for believing in me and my leadership capabilities with this new project,” said Fabal upon receiving the award.
Fabal will now compete with young leaders from regions around the world for the GCCA NextGen award, which seeks to recognize and reward future leaders in the temperature-controlled global logistics industry.
