The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) on August 2 announced the recipient of the 2023 Brazilian Future Award is Bruno Nahas, commercial and operations director at Refrio Armazéns Gerais.
Also competing for the award was Ricardo Nogueira Marinho de Avila, project manager of SuperFrio Logística Frigorificado. The candidates, who were evaluated by a panel of industry leaders of the Brazilian cold chain industry, went through a thorough qualification process to compete for the honor.
“It is always a challenge to evaluate such prepared candidates with experience in our segment,” said Judge Dannieli Moreira Leite. “Certainly, the GCCA reveals a new talent each year. This award exists to promote new talent and encourage others to showcase themselves.”
The award recognizes talented young professionals who have the potential to become leaders in the cold chain and contribute positively to the development of the temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics industry.
“I am delighted to be named Future Leader of the Year by GCCA Brazil. It is a great achievement for me and my entire team who have been doing incredible work in this challenging sector,” said said Nahas. “No doubt I will represent Brazil in the upcoming NextGen Award competition in Arizona in the best possible way.”
