Just in time for the warm weather ahead, Häagen-Dazs is offering customers in the United States three new sorbet offerings, adding to its growing portfolio of non-dairy frozen desserts. Featuring fruit flavors like Summer Blueberry & Lemon, Passion Fruit & Sweet Pear, and Sweet Lemon Coconut, the sweet treats are now available for $6.99 per 14 oz container in supermarkets and grocery stores.

On the heels of the brand’s Super Bowl television commercial debut inspiring consumers to “embrace a moment of slow,” each sorbet promises a desirable bite with the refreshing fruit-forward pairings. Sorbets have seen strong growth in recent years as shoppers are looking for something lighter, refreshing and upscale. The sorbets combine fruits from zesty lemon and sun-ripened blueberries to tropical passion fruit and punchy sweet lemon that satisfies an appetite for sweet-yet-tart flavors, as detailed below:

• Summer Blueberry & Lemon. Sun-ripened blueberries from the US Pacific Northwest blended with zesty lemon, the product is promoted as “sweet, summery and refreshing all in one bite.”

• Passion Fruit & Sweet Pear. Tropical passion fruit combined with a touch of sweet pear.

• Sweet Lemon Coconut. Tangy, punchy sweet lemons are balanced with rich coconut cream.

“This summer will be the season of sorbet,” said Rachel Jaiven, head of marketing for Häagen-Dazs in the USA. “With the launch of these new products, we’re celebrating bold fruit flavor pairings and growing our portfolio of delicious, non-dairy sorbets that make every moment feel like summer, no matter the time of year.”

This announcement completes the record 10 new launches for the Häagen-Dazs brand this year, which include ice cream snacks like the Salted Caramel Macadamia ice cream bars, new carton flavors like Salted Brown Butter Cookie and the new Belgian Waffle Cones product line.
