Nutley, New Jersey-based Happi Foodi is rolling out a number of new frozen dishes this autumn, including Keto Bowls, Street Tacos and Flatbreads. The products are already available at Walmart stores throughout the United States
“As we continue to grow and expand our product offerings, we are always looking for unique flavors and dishes that will transform current stereotypes about frozen food,” said Sam Rockwell, the company’s co-founder and chief executive officer. “With this launch we’re also working to keep in mind those who are adhering to specific lifestyles, such as the ketogenic diet, so everyone can unleash their inner foodie!”
Included in the “Carb Wise” assortment of Keto Bowls, distributed in 283-gram microwaveable packaging, are Chicken Alfredo, Southwest Style Chicken, Cheddar Parm and Coconut Chicken. The last mentioned recipe features diced chicken, broccoli florets, riced cauliflower, chopped spinach and tomatoes in a seasoned coconut milk sauce.
The four new Street Tacos are: Carnitas (white corn tortillas filled with seasoned pork, banana peppers, onions, jalapeños, cilantro and cotija cheese in); Al Pastor Chicken (white meat chicken with pickled red onions, jalapeños, cotija cheese and red peppers; Southwestern Chicken (white meat chicken, onions, green chilies, sweet corn, jalapeños, cilantro and cotija cheese); and Beef Brisket (seasoned shredded beef brisket, diced onions, Peppadew peppers and cotija cheese). Each 178-gram pack contains two tacos.
There are three new offerings in the Flatbreads lineup: Bacon Pear & Feta, Thai Style and Carne Asada Flatbread.
Brisket Biscuit and Pork & Yucca Fries are the latest Sheet Pan Meals on the scene, while Cauliflower Wings with Honey Sriracha Sauce is the newest Snacks ’n Apps offering.
