New from Peruwelz, Belgium-based Ecofrost NV, and profiled prominently at Anuga, were Potato Croquettes. The specialty product, which is distributed in packaging ranging from 400 to 2,500 grams, joins a growing range of frozen potato products that include crinkle-cut french fries and steakhouse fries, roast potatoes, rosti rounds, hash browns, spicy wedges and potato stars.
Potato Croquettes is the latest item in Ecofrost’s expanding assortment of frozen potato products.The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, FrozenFoodBiz.com was told by Claire Hoflack, a daughter of one of the founders. Engaged in both the sales and logistics sides of the business, she has been quite busy of late. Indeed, Ecofrost is now exporting to an international clientele in more than 110 countries around the world.
