The recently launched FastBack 260E G3 cartridge system, integrated Spray Dynamics ‘Slurry On Demand’ continuous mixing and WeighBack systems will be in high profile at Heat and Control Stand D03 in Hall 15 during the Interpack in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Furthermore, visitors attending the May 4-10 trade show will be able to experience how Heat and Control’s HeatWave Fryer operates by visualizing animated 3D models of the equipment via the new Augmented Reality (AR) app. It utilizes technology that superimposes information by overlaying digital content on top of real life images.
After downloading the app, all one needs to do is point a mobile phone or tablet at the image of the HeatWave Fryer and a 3D model of it appears on screen. The viewer is then able to see how product is cooked from 360° angles by moving around the image.
The Heat and Control AR app allows users to open and close the fryer by tapping on the screen prompts, and then run product through the fryer. This involves animation of food product moving along a conveyor belt and oil flowing in curtains over the product.
“Given the size and sophisticated nature of a lot of our equipment, like the HeatWave Fryer, it can be a logistical nightmare to have large pieces of equipment at trade show booths for our customers to see,” said Heat and Control Sales Manager Bobby Kane. “The app now allows customers to accurately view and see how equipment such as the HeatWave Fryer operates, simply by using their phone or any mobile device anywhere in the world.”
The HeatWave snack frying system efficiently fries products with less oil than conventional fryers thanks to a proven breakthrough design that cooks by using curtains of clean filtered oil instead of submersion.
The company will also launch a new control system that is bigger, brighter and easier for the processor to use. The newly developed screen, with clearer and more specific icons, will show immediately if something needs attention, or for example, when a product changeover is required.
