Springfield, Missouri, USA-headquartered Hiland Dairy has debuted Fire in The Hole ice cream distributed in 1.5 quart (1.4 liter) containers. Inspired by the excitement of the Silver Dollar City 1880s theme park’s new indoor roller coaster, the sweet treat is now available in retail stores.

The launch, according Hiland Dairy’s marketing department, “ignites the spirit of adventure and the rich history of the Ozarks, bringing a thrilling taste experience to ice cream enthusiasts.”

The product serves up a tasty blend of creamy marshmallow-flavored ice cream swirled with rich chocolate ribbons and sprinkled with crunchy graham cracker pieces. Its flavor, reminiscent of a fireside s’mores experience, pays tribute to the legendary night when the Baldknobbers set fire to the mining town of Marmaros.

“The excitement surrounding the new Fire in The Hole family coaster has been contagious, and we are delighted to extend this experience to ice cream lovers across our markets. It’s a flavor that not only celebrates the roller coaster but also the delicious taste of a s’more,” said Sarah Carey, Hiland Dairy’s marketing manager.
The collaborative spirt of Hiland Dairy and Silver Dollar City has previously churned out two popular ice cream flavors, Time Traveler and Outlaw Run. Now, after exclusive taste testings at the theme park’s Hannah’s Ice Cream Shop, Fire in the Hole is rolling out in earnest.
